What we collect

VivMetric is designed to minimize data collection. The calculators (body-fat, WHtR, BMR, TDEE, etc.) run entirely in your browser. The measurements you enter are processed on your device and are not transmitted to or stored by us.

Analytics

We may use privacy-respecting, aggregated analytics (such as Cloudflare Web Analytics) to understand overall traffic patterns. These tools are configured to avoid tracking individual visitors and do not use cross-site advertising identifiers.

Information you volunteer

If you contact us by email or form, we use the information you provide solely to respond. We do not sell, rent, or share it with third parties for marketing.

Contact form

If you send a message via our contact form, the name, email and message you submit are transmitted to and stored by Web3Forms (web3forms.com) solely to receive and respond to your inquiry. We do not use this information for marketing, and we never sell, trade, rent or transfer it to third parties. You may request deletion of your submission at any time by emailing team@vivmetric.com.

Cookies

The site uses only the minimal cookies required for security and aggregated analytics. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

You can block cookies in your browser; the calculators will continue to work because they run locally. For questions about this policy, contact the site through the channels published on the About page.

Children

VivMetric is a reference resource and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

What happens to the numbers you enter

Every calculator on this site performs its arithmetic in your browser using JavaScript, so the heights, weights, and measurements you type are never transmitted to us or to any third party. The same applies to the progress tracker, whose history is stored in your own browser rather than on a server. Clearing your browsing data removes that history permanently, and there is no copy anywhere else for us to restore.

Data retention

Because the tools do not transmit their input, there is nothing from tool use for us to retain. The only personal data that reaches us is what you choose to send through the contact form, and that is kept only for as long as it is useful for answering your inquiry or for tracking a correction you reported. You can ask us to delete it at any time and we will do so without asking for a reason.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to request a copy of it, to have it corrected, or to have it erased. In practice the only record will be your contact message, but the request itself is straightforward: send it through the contact channels and we will respond within a reasonable period. This site does not profile visitors, does not run automated decision-making, and does not use personal data for advertising.

Changes to this policy

This policy may change as the site evolves. When it does, the revision date shown on the page is updated, and any material change will be described rather than applied silently. If you have an open question with us, the version in effect when you wrote to us is the one that governs that correspondence.
